SCHEPP: On Saturday, August 11, 2007, Emily May Schepp passed away peacefully at Fairview Home. She was born on July 31, 1918 at Binscarth, Manitoba to Arthur and Maggie Parr. In 1951, she married Alfred Schepp. They farmed in the Binscarth area until 1980, when they retired from the farm and moved to Red Deer, Alberta. Alfred passed away in 1984. Later, Emily moved to Brandon, residing here until the time of her death. Emily was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed her family and friends and always shared a smile, giggle or laugh. In her younger years, she worked hard with the grain, hay and livestock and in retirement enjoyed bingo and bowling. She was always an avid gardener. Emily is survived by her immediate family including; her son Lyle and his wife Carol, two grandchildren, Kerri and her husband Al Williamson of Winnipeg and Eric Schepp of Brandon and her great grandson, Derek Williamson. Emily was predeceased by: her husband Alfred, parents, Arthur and Maggie Parr, brothers, Victor and James Parr. She will be remembered by relatives and friends across western Canada. A graveside service will be held at the Brandon Cemetery on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 2:30 pm. with Dean Forsberg officiating.
