Emerson Oswald Bernard English, died peacefully at Hillcrest Place on December 24, 2000 at the age of 91 years. Emerson was born October 8, 1909 at Harding, Manitoba. He was the second child born to Guy and Annie English. He is survived by his loving wife, Clara, one son Elwood (Lynne) English and one daughter, Elspeth (Allan) Denbow, both of Brandon. Grandchildren; Shelley (Doss) Mayor, Gladstone; Debbie Denbow, Winnipeg; Darcy (Heather) Denbow, Brandon and great grandchildren, Kelley and Shanda Mayor and Brad Denbow. Mr. English was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and a sister. A graveside service will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery, Harding, Manitoba on Thursday, December 28, 2000 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Emerson may be made to the Greenwood Cemetery, c/o Mrs. Charlie Finnie, 114 Grey Street, Kenton, MB, R0M 0Z0.
