KING; Elsie Ellen King passed away on Monday, August 4, 2003 at her residence, Hillcrest Place Nursing Home. Elsie was born at Morse, Saskatchewan on August 3, 1923, the eldest daughter of Albert and Vermillia Smith. She received her education at Rush Lake and then took nurses training in Regina at the Grey Nuns Hospital. Elsie later moved to Brandon, where she was employed in the city at the Assiniboine Hospital. She married Arthur Clarence King on September 15, 1949 in Brandon. She is survived by: her husband Arthur, son Charles of Saskatoon and a sister, Joyce Smith of Swift Current, SK. Elsie was predeceased by; her parents, a daughter Colleen King and a son Doug King. A graveside and interment service will be held at the Brandon Cemetery on Thursday, August 14, 2003 at 3:00 pm. The Rev. Glenna Beauchamp will officiate.
