LEGG: Elizabeth, October 20, 1943 - April 30, 2006. In loving memory of our dearly beloved mother and grandmother who passed away peacefully, on Sunday, April 30, 2006 at her residence with her husband at her side. Elizabeth was born and raised on a farm twelve miles north of Elphinstone. She was the daughter of the late Mac and Lena Pastershank. Upon completing high school she came to work in Brandon. On October 3, 1961, she started working at the Brandon Mental Hospital. In 1989, she transferred to Rideau Park Personal Care Home and was still employed there at the time of her passing. Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered by her best friend and husband of 42 years, Bert; her children, Sharon (Kevin) Russell of Barrie, ON, Pernell (Jen) Legg of Brandon, Brigette (Shawn) Rotar of Hornepayne, ON and Tammy (Bob) Turner of Brandon. She also leaves grandchildren, Kelci, Jeffery, Raya and Kaden. The Ceremony to Celebrate Elizabeth's Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Friday, May 5, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Jeanette Van Heyst will officiate. Pallbearers will be: Betty Bertrand, Shirley Hayden, Sharon Vail, Joyce Farough, Kimmie Charlton and Margaret Dumas. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery.
