Peacefully, on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, Elise Louisa Henry passed away at her residence, Valleyview Care Centre. Elise is survived by her two sons Alcid (Anita) and Leonil (Joyce); three grandchildren Angela, Tyler and Melanie; eight great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and two sisters Julia and Irene. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Albert Henry in 2009. Born May 21, 1927 in Grande Clairiere, Manitoba, Elise married Albert Henry in August 1946. Together they farmed in Grande Clairiere area for a few years. Albert worked on hydro dams around Lac du Bonnet until 1955 when they moved to Brandon and have resided ever since. Elise went to sleep firmly convinced of the promise Jesus made of a literal resurrection mentioned at John 5:28-29. The Memorial Service took place at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Monday, November 14, 2016. The family would like to thank the staff at Valleyview Care Centre for the compassionate care they provided to our mother.
