LeCLERCQ: Eleanor Elizabeth LeClercq of Dinsdale Home, passed away at her residence on Sunday, June 29, 2008. Eleanor was born in Winnipeg on September 20, 1926 the youngest of six children born to Sarah and William McCormack. Upon completing her schooling in Winnipeg, Eleanor moved to British Columbia to be near her sister and began working in a hardware store. There she met Donald LeClercq and they were married on May 15, 1946. They had a son, Donald. Eleanor later worked at a Salvation Army Nursing Home. Following the death of her husband in 1970, Eleanor returned to Manitoba to live at Woodlands to be near her two sisters. She later moved to Winnipeg and then to Brandon. Eleanor's hobbies included knitting, cross word puzzles and visiting with friends. The Funeral Service will be held at the Dinsdale Personal Care Home, 510-6th Street on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 1:30 pm. Major Winnie Perrin will officiate. Interment will be in the Brandon Cemetery. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Eleanor to the Dinsdale Personal Care Home, 510-6th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 3N9.
