Peacefully at Riverdale Health Centre, Rivers, Manitoba on Monday, March 12, 2001 Edwin (Ted) Sharman passed away at age 78 years. Ted was born on the farm in the Bradwardine District. He spent his entire life working on the farm until he retired to Rivers. In 1994, due to failing health, he relocated to the Ann Lines residence where he resided until December 1999, and then to the Riverdale Health Centre. Left to cherish his memory are: brother Donald and wife Lillian of Winnipeg; niece, Beverly (Richard) Pudwell, their children, Jessica and Jamie of Oakville, Ontario; niece, Donna (Anthony) Marsiglio, and their children, Ryan and Cara of Uxbridge, Ontario. Also surviving are two aunts and numerous cousins across Canada and the United States. Ted was predeceased by his mother, Annie in 1992; his father, Charles in 1976; as well as a baby sister, Margaret in 1926. The service of remembrance was held on Thursday, March 15, 2001 at the Riverdale Personal Care Home with Rev. Glenna Beauchamp officiating. Luncheon was held in the Rivers Legion Hall. Interment at Ancrum Cemetery will follow at a later date.
