HASLAM: Miss Edith Helen Haslam, of Central Park Lodge, passed away peacefully at her residence, Central Park Lodge, on Thursday, September 29, 2005. Edith was born and raised in the city of Brandon. She obtained her education in the Brandon School Division and also attended the Brandon Business College. Edith worked for Manulife Insurance (formerly North American Life) as the office secretary. She was a member of the Anglican Church Women (ACW) and Altar Guild of St. George's Anglican Church for many years. She will be lovingly remembered by: her sister-in-law, Jennie Haslam of Brandon and several nieces and nephews. Edith was predeceased by: her parents, George and Marion Haslam; sister, Grace; brother, Thomas and a brother in infancy. A private Graveside Ceremony was held at the Brandon Cemetery. Rev. Jim Brown of St. George's Anglican Church officiated. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Edith to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 3-824-18th Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 5B7.
