It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dwight Sexsmith, born August 17, 1944 in Indian Head, Saskatchewan.

Dwight shared 59 incredible years of marriage with his beloved wife, Gloria (Bernard), whom he married on November 5, 1966. He was ever grateful for the many travel adventures and cruises he and Gloria enjoyed together over their years as well as the time spent with family and friends. Most recently, his 80th birthday celebration was one of those special events that was a true highlight, along with a memorable trip to Mexico for a surprise family holiday in the sun.

Dwight enjoyed an accomplished career as a floor-covering sales representative, traveling throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan. He was widely known for his outgoing nature and genuine kindness, building lasting relationships where many of his customers became lifelong friends. A passionate and avid hockey fan, Dwight proudly supported the Brandon Wheat Kings and was a dedicated season ticket holder for more than 25 years.

He is survived by his wife Gloria, their children Bonnie (Larry) Stasila and Dean (Laurel) Sexsmith, and their four cherished grandchildren: Ryan, Taylor, Justin, and Darian.

Dwight will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him and is especially missed by his devoted family.

The family will cherish Dwight's memory with a private celebration of life to be held at a later date. Donations in Dwight's memory can be made to the Western Manitoba Cancer Center at 300 McTavish Ave E in Brandon Mb.
