MITCHELL: Dugald Wesley Mitchell of Brandon, formerly of Douglas, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 1999 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre at the age of 76 years. Dugald was born October 31, 1922 in Brandon and was raised on the Rosedale family farm, 5 miles North of Douglas. He received most of his schooling at the Alexander School in Brandon. He then returned to operate the family farm with his brother in 1937 and continued to farm until 1992. Dugald married Anne Currall on July 6, 1962 and together they raised two children, Carol Ann and Robert Dugald. In 1990, Dugald and Anne moved to Brandon where they have since resided. Dugald will be remembered by all for his listening ear and his willingness to help others. He will be missed. Dugald is survived by his wife, Anne; daughter, Carol Ann Radke; son, Robert (Alison) Mitchell; and grandchildren, Jesimine and Justin Radke. He is predeceased by his parents, Dugald and Mary Jane Mitchell; and his twin brother, Velmor Jean Mitchell. Funeral Service was held at Calvary Temple in Brandon (today) August 28, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Martin Mittelstadt officiated. Interment was in Madford Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
