BALLANCE: Doug Ballance, beloved husband of Melva and father of Myrna, Sharon, Gail and Diana, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, on Monday, March 22, 2004. BALLANCE: Douglas Edwin Ballance passed away suddenly at the age of 74, on Monday, March 22, 2004 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Beloved husband of Melva and loving father to four daughters: Myrna (Dale) Fraser of Regina, Sharon (Darryl) Fordyce, Gail (Bob) McElroy and Diana (Allan) West all of Brandon. There are seven wonderful grandchildren: Miranda and Riley Fraser, Stacey and Marisa Fordyce, Kendra McElroy and Justin and Austin West, who will miss him dearly. He is survived by: his brother Barry (Donna) Ballance, sisters-in-law, Grace, Anita, Ruth and Barb Ballance and Harriet (Stan) Lewarne and many niece and nephews. Doug was predeceased by: his parents Ted and Violet Ballance; brothers Ed, Dave, Keith, Sheldon; and sister-in-law Margaret (Gordon) McRae. The Memorial Service will be held at Central United Church, 327-8th Street, on Friday, March 26, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. Mr. Lawrence McInnes will officiate. Flowers are gratefully declined.
