CHUBEY: Dorothy Helen Chubey, age 95 years, widow of Stephen Chubey, passed away at her residence, Fairview Home on Saturday, June 22, 2013. Dorothy was born on March 6, 1918 in Brandon, Manitoba and lived all of her life in the surrounding district. She is survived by her two daughters; Dorothy Cochrane and Judie Hrappstead. She also leaves five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. There are several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews surviving. Dorothy was predeceased by her first husband Winnfred Roddick and her second husband Stephen Chubey. A graveside ceremony was held in the Veterans' Section of the Brandon Cemetery on Thursday, June 27, 2013. Capt. Rhonda Smith of the Salvation Army officiated. Flowers are gratefully declined.
