It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our sister Dorothy Bal on Monday, July 22, 2024.

Dorothy was born on September 4, 1948. Dorothy was a Nurse's Aide at Fairview Home for over 30 years and enjoyed her time looking after the residents there. In her younger years she enjoyed biking around town with her mother and to work, having never chosen to drive. She enjoyed gardening and yard work and the company of her many pets ranging from cats to dogs and fish to birds.
She was predeceased by her Grandpa Johannes Bal and mother Wilhelmina Bal.
She leaves to mourn her brother Ward Dittmer; sister-in-law Trisha; nephews Mitchell, Matthew, Brandon, Jordan and Jayden.

A private graveside will take place at the Brandon Cemetery.

Thanks to you Dorothy for all our wonderful years together, it was a pleasure and honor to have you as a sister. Go and be happy with Mom gardening.

She will be forever missed.
