How do you write a tribute for someone you have known your whole life, someone you admire and love so deeply and cannot imagine life without?

There are endless things to say. There are countless memories and stories that emerge from within and permeate our hearts and minds. How do you truly express the depths of what this person means to you, knowing you would not be who you are today without their guidance through every victory and storm of life? How do you move forward in life without them to call on for wisdom, advice, for comfort, for encouragement?

That is how we feel when it comes to parting with this most wonderful, amazing lady who is to us a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother, a sister, a loyal friend; a bright light in all of our lives, full of wisdom, love, hope, kindness and joy.

This is who Doreen Brown is and always will be! This is what she means to us as a family! We will forever miss her smile, her laugh, her words of encouragement, her jokes and stories and unexpected remarks that make us all laugh!

To this wonderful little lady who has blessed us all:

She finished her race and she finished well!

Doreen is survived by her daughter Darla (Eugene), her grandsons Jeremy (Louise) and Jesse (Crystal), her great-grandchildren (Isaiah, Micah and Aliyah) and her brother Wayne Clark (Lynn & family).

Celebration of Life TBA. It was Doreen’s specific request was that in lieu of flowers that we would practice acts of kindness, share a smile, speak an encouraging word and extend a helping hand to others.
