PANGMAN: Donald Wayne, age 69 years, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at his home in Oak Lake Beach.

Don will be lovingly remembered by his life partner Bev Karnes; daughter Michelle (Wade) Armstrong and grandsons Cameron and Colton; daughter Amber (Ken) Chalcraft; mother "Bunny" Pangman; brother David Pangman; sisters Sharon (Tom) Wilson and Sandy (Cornell) Vanderhulst; nieces and nephews; and the good friends he made during his many years at Oak Lake Beach. He was predeceased by his father Murray Pangman.

Don spent his career as a firefighter in Brandon. Later, he took up carving and became known as the Oak Lake Carver with Spirit Man birdhouses being his signature style. Don also enjoyed fishing with Cecil Huff in both the summer and the winter seasons, and in his earlier years, he was a pitcher on various Fastball teams.

The family will cherish Don's memory in a private graveside service at Oak Lake Cemetery.
