Obituary

CLOET: The death of Donald Henry Cloet occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, April 3, 2007. A time of visitation will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Friday, April 6, 2007 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Central United Church, 327 - 8th Street, on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Laird Russell-Yearwood will officiate. Interment will follow in the Chater Cemetery. Donations in memory of Don may be made to Canadian Liver Foundation, P.O. Box 1943, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 3R2. CLOET: Donald Henry "Don" Cloet, passed away with his family by his side, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, April 3, 2007. Don was born in Deloraine, Manitoba on April 10, 1956. He received his education at Deloraine School and attended Assiniboine Community College where he completed his Automotive Mechanic and Certified Propane Technician training. Don worked at many mechanic and autobody positions, such as DM Motors and Langs Motors. He owned and operated DC, DHC Services, and OK Tire until his illness. Don was a member of the United Commercial Travellers. He enjoyed working with anything that had a motor, ski-dooing, quading working on his yard and coaching his son's hockey and baseball teams. Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 33 years, Mary; children: Kevin (Laura) and children Tyson, Breelyn, Kamryn; Cory (Christy) and children Josslynn, Brooke; Kristine Cloet-Deleau (Ryan) and Trevor. He is also survived by his mother Adeline (Jack) McNaught; sisters Nancy (Mike) Downs, Colleen (Rick) Robbins; grandmother Olga Cloet; father and mother - in - law Maurice and Evelyn Bertholet; brothers and sisters-in-law: Doug, Grant (Glenys), Gord (Mary), Angela (Danny) Vandenberghe, Brian (Tannis), Carrie (John) Neufeld. A time of visitation was held at Memories Chapel on Friday, April 6, 2007. Funeral Service will be held at Central United Church, 327 - 8th Street, on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Laird Russell-Yearwood will officiate. A private family interment will follow in the Chater Cemetery.
