On Friday, October 28, 2016, Debra Mary Motuz passed away after a long and courageous fight with cancer, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Debbie was born December 3, 1954 in Minnedosa, Manitoba to John and Sophie Motuz, the third of seven children. After graduating from Minnedosa Collegiate High School she moved to Brandon, MB where she attended ACC. Debbie started her working life at Sun Life Insurance, and continued on to Romana Pizza, and the Government of Manitoba. Debbie moved out of province with her family to pursue a new endeavor of running a Humpty's Restaurant franchise. She moved back to Manitoba in 2005 to return to the Government of Manitoba where she held a few different positions. Debbie's greatest passions were travelling, her children and granddaughter. She will be remembered as a very social and kindhearted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Debbie is survived by her daughter Jaclyn Seul; granddaughter Zoey; son Benjamin (Chelsea) Seul; mother Sophie Motuz; siblings Diane (Keith) Kirby, Dennis Motuz, David (Mona) Motuz, Daniel (Arlene) Motuz, Darcy Collister and Darren (Christine) Motuz; many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews as well as many good friends. She was predeceased by her father John Motuz and sister-in-law Cheryl Motuz. The Ceremony to Celebrate Debbie's Life was held at Memories Chapel on Saturday, November 5, 2016 with Arlene Robertson officiating.
