ROBSON: David Richard Robson passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday, July 23, 2007. David was born on June 12, 1944 at Brandon, Manitoba. He attended school in Brandon and worked at Burns Meat Plant, Bartelles Men's Wear, and Assiniboine Community College for thirty-two years until his retirement. David had many friends. He won several trophies for bowling and was an avid bingo and shuffleboard player. David enjoyed stamp collecting, watching movies, puzzle books, gardening, spending time with his cats, and going for long walks with his companion Katie. He will be remembered as a kind and caring person. David is survived by his companion Katie Morris and her family; brothers Bill (Irene), Allen (Amy), Don (Liz), Bob, and Ron. He is also survived by sister-in-law Carol, numerous nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his parents George Roy Robson in 1977 and Olina Margaret in 2000; one brother James in 2001; a sister Margaret in 2006; brother-in-law Ron and sister-in-law Goldie in 2007. Cremation has taken place. The procession to Graveside will assemble at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North at 9:30 a.m. The Graveside Ceremony will be held at Brandon Cemetery on Friday, July 27, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Joanne Biggs, Chaplin will officiate.
