With great sadness, the family announces the passing of David Russell John Carey on Monday, September 5, 2016 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. David was born and raised in Boissevain. At a young age, he enjoyed horseback riding and trucks. His lifelong passion for trucks turned into his career, where he found extreme enjoyment. Travelling many roads, David had a great memory of how long it took to get to a location and where all the truck stops were. David will be lovingly remembered by his son Jeff (Tara); four grandchildren, Mark, Morgan, Emerson and Chase; sister Dorothy and her sons Justin and Jordan; brother Ronnie (Noreen) and their sons George and Robert, and several great nieces and nephews. David's grandchildren were the love of his life, and he spent as much time possible with them. He will be greatly missed . A graveside service to celebrate David's life was held at the Brandon Cemetery on Friday, September 9, 2016.
