Brandon Sun
BJORNSSON: David John Bjornsson, August 14, 1980 - August 4, 2006. As a result of a sudden and tragic accident while quading, we must say goodbye to our dear son, brother and friend. Born and raised in Brandon, MB, Dave's adventurous nature led him to travel across Australia and to settle in Calgary, AB, where he could enjoy numerous outdoor activities. Dave had just completed the requirements for the journeyman carpentry designation and was about to embark on his newest adventure, starting his own business. Predeceased by his grandparents and Uncle Wade Olford, he will be sadly missed by his parents John and Debbie, older sister Dana, older brother Bill, twin sister Charlene and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The Ceremony to Celebrate David's Life will be held at Central United Church, 327, 8th Street on Friday, August 11, 2006 at 11:00 am. David's cousin Rev. Wendy Ainsworth will officiate. Pallbearers will be Chris McLaren, Craig Tardiff, Chris Lockerby, Chris Kerslake, Darren Harvatt, Derek Jago, Andrew Connon, and Dave Reville. Donations in memory of David may be made to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200 17th Street East, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 7M6 or to Foster Parents Plan, Suite 1001, 95 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto, Ontario M4V 3B5. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com. Arrangements are with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 727-0330.
