Obituary

THEXTON: It is with deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Dayle Diane Thexton (nee Rempel) on Monday, February 12, 2007. Dayle is survived by her husband Bill; daughters Chelsey Paull of Regina, Saskatchewan; Chloe Paull of Virden, Manitoba and Rory Thexton of Brandon; mother Catherine Rempel of Brandon; father and step mother Calvin (Lynne) Rempel of Gibsons, British Columbia; sisters Dena of Whitecourt, Alberta, Calvina and Jody, both of Brandon; brother Ryan and step-brothers Dean and Mark Gould. She will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Dayle was born in Fort St. John on October 7, 1965. The family moved to Manitoba in 1979 when Dayle was thirteen. Since then, she has resided in several communities before settling in Brandon. She will always be remembered as a truly unique and one of a kind individual. Her love for family, children and nature was second to none. Dayle will be missed. A Memorial Reception was held at Memories Chapel, on Monday, February 19, 2007. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com. Arrangements were with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 727-0330.

I thank all who have loved me in their hearts,
With thanks and love from mine. Deep thanks to all
Who paused a little near the prison-wall
To hear my music in its louder parts
Ere they went onward, each one to the mart's
Or temple's occupation, beyond call.
But thou, who, in my voice's sink and fall
When the sob took it, thy divinest Art's
Own instrument didst drop down at thy foot
To hearken what I said between my tears,
Instruct me how to thank thee! Oh, to shoot
My soul's full meaning into future years,
That they should lent it utterance, and salute
Love that endures, from Life that disappears!
