Dale Winston Mitchell

Dale Winston Mitchell, age 84, of Brandon, Manitoba passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at Fairview Personal Care Home.

Born on June 7, 1942, to Fern and Marjorie Mitchell, Dale grew up in Brandon.

At the age of 16, he began working at Sharpes Auto Electric, which then became Fort Ignition and then Napa, a total of 54 years.

Dale will be deeply remembered by his spouse of 62 years, Lorraine, son Jason (Marie-Claude), sisters-in-law Sylvia and Marilyn as well as many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by adopted family: Gabriel, Ivonne Munoz, Sofia and family, Gaby, Nick, and Asher, Krystel and Camilla, Dale’s special friend Susie Prankie and her family (Michelle, Melissa, Andrew and families) and Gayle Drysdale.

The family would like to thank Fairview for their excellent care.

A private family Celebration of Dale’s life will take place at a later date.
