BRAUN: Clyde Alvin Braun, beloved partner of Susan Bartell, passed away in Brandon on Tuesday, September 7, 2004. Clyde was born at Gladstone Hospital, Gladstone on December 3, 1957, the fourth child of Abe and Hanna Braun. He attended school in Plumas and Earl Oxford in Brandon. Clyde married Cindy Webb on September 18, 1976. They were blessed with two children: Teri and Joshua. He enjoyed having his children with him, taking them for coffee with his friends and for drives in the truck. Clyde's work life started as a paperboy then as carpenter's helper. After finishing school, he worked as a driver salesman for Manco Dairies and Frito Lay in Brandon, The Pas and Thompson. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Keller's Farm of Brandon. Clyde loved the outdoors. He had cabins at Thomas Lake and Ditch Lake. You would find him water skiing, fishing, sitting at the campfire or playing a prank on someone. Clyde enjoyed all sports, but his first love was hockey and he had many great achievements playing forward on his team, both in Plumas and Brandon. He continued playing for the love of it well into his adult life. Clyde also spent many hours doing fine carpentry work. He is survived by his children Teri and Joshua and granddaughter Mia of Regina, his parents Hanna Braun of Brandon and Abe Braun of Erickson, two brothers, Brian (Debbie) and Jerry of Brandon, two sisters, Judy (Ken) Busch of Saskatoon and Audrey (Lance) Halliday of Winnipeg. Also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins survive. The Ceremony to Celebrate Clyde's life will be held at Memories Chapel on Saturday, September 11, 2004 (today) at 1:30 p.m. The Rev.
