Clifford Harold Peffers, of Rideau Park Personal Care Home, beloved husband of Adeline, passed away at the Assiniboine Centrre on Friday, February 5, 1999, at the age of 73 years. Clifford was born in Midland, Ontario on May 21, 1925 and was raised in Portage la Prairie and district. While in Portage, he worked at the MacDonald Airport and after moving to Brandon, was employed at Shilo for a number of years. Clifford is survived by his loving wife Adeline: his children; Sharon (Africa), Diane (Winnipeg), Harold (Ladysmith,BC), Carol (Swift Current,SK) and Frances (Victoria, BC). There are seven grandchildren. Two sisters, Loretta Harbottle (Brandon) and Marjorie Denslow (Portage la Prairie), a brother Cecil (Port Alberni,BC) also survive as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Emily and John, brother Jack in 1985 and a sister Edith Whyte in Dec. 1998. The funeral service was held at the Rideau Park Personal Care Home on Tuesday, February 9, 1999. Interment of the cremated remains followed at the Brandon cemetery. The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Ho and the staff at Rideau Park Personal Care Home and the Assiniboine Centre for the care given to Clifford.
