McKAY: The death of Clifford McKay of Brandon occurred Saturday, March 11, 2000 at the Assiniboine Centre. Clifford was born July 12, 1923 at Sec 3-1-22W Mountainside, Manitoba in the Deloraine district. Over the years, he worked for the Canadian National Railway and the Canadian Pacific Railway. Clifford is survived by his wife Gertrude; children: Leonard (Carol) McKay of Edmonton, Alberta; Marion (Bruce) Adams of Brandon; Mervin (Barb) McKay of Thunder Bay, Ontario; William (Monica) McKay of Winnipeg; Alvin (Diane) McKay of Winnipeg Beach; Merna (Donald) Ditcham of Winnipeg; Leona (Brian) Reykdal of Gibbons, Alberta; Berten McKay of Kanata, Ontario; Barry (Betty) McKay of Brandon; Rodney (Deidre) McKay of Brandon; Bonnie McKay and Sean MacLeod of Winnipeg. Grandchildren: Jody McKay of Winnipeg; Sean McKay of Thunder Bay, Ontario; Elizabeth McKay of Thunder Bay, Ontario; Heather (Andy) Feigl of Germany; Michael Ditcham of Winnipeg; Carla and Gregory Reykdal of Gibbons, Alberta; Bethannie and Rebekah McKay of Brandon; great grandchildren: Amanda McKay (Reykdal) of Winnipeg, Jessica and Cyrus McKay of Brandon. Also surviving are: sister Ida Fiddler of Brandon; brothers Charlie (Pat) of Sylvan Lake, Alberta and Don (Eileen) of Calgary, Alberta; numerous nieces and nephews. Clifford was predeceased by his brothers: Stanley, Clarence, Russell, Maynard and Manfred; and one sister Adele Nielson. Prayers will be said at Memories Chapel, 330 - 18th Street North, on Thursday, March 16, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, 327-4th Street, Friday, March 17, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Felix Parish Cemetery, Dunrea, Manitoba.
