Obituary

Clarence Leslie Lacquement passed away on Monday, October 1, 2001 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Clarence was born to Adolph and Sarah Lacquement on February 17, 1928 at Benito, Manitoba. He was educated in Benito and loved to be in plays and Christmas concerts at the school. Clarence worked at General Bakeries as a baker for 20 years, Metal Industries as a welder/fabricator for 20 years until its closing. He then worked part-time for K-Dale Security until his retirement. Clarence was a past member of the Brandon Barbershop Chorus, and was an avid fan of the television show "The Young and the Restless". He loved to walk with Flo, and ride his bike. His inseparable companion, cat Teazer, would sit on his lap while he watched television. Clarence is survived by his wife of 46 years, Florence; daughter, Sandra (Gord); beloved cat Teazer; brothers, Edmund and Elvin Lacquement; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Adolph and Sarah Lacquement; sister, Olive Baxter; and brother, Albert Lacquement. A private family Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2001. Urnbearer will be his daughter, Sandra Lacquement. Flowers are gratefully declined.
