Charlotte Elizabeth Roberds of Rural Brandon Hills Area passed away at the Brandon Hospital on September 18, 2024. Charlotte was born in Caster, Alberta on July 23, 1947. Charlotte spent her youth in Brandon followed by moving to Cardale where she attended school. In 1964 she met and married the love of her life Harold Roberds, they were married later that year on October 3rd.
Later in November of 64 they packed all of their belongings into a 49 dodge car and moved to BC where their twin sons were born in December 1965. From there Charlotte and Harold moved around the Western Provinces where they settled in Manitoba.
Charlotte ran a small restaurant in Rivers where she would make subs and pizzas while running an arcade for the kids in town. Harold and Charlotte moved to Brandon where Charlotte worked as a cook at the Keystone Centre for many years. Then finally retired to her small family farm south of Brandon where she spent her time with beloved animals especially goats and would maintain a beautiful and always full garden.
Charlotte was a long time member of the Legion Auxiliary where she was proud to be able to lend a helping hand throughout the club. Charlotte's favourite pass times were bingo every week and knitting in between.
Charlotte leaves behind her beloved husband of almost 60 years Harold Roberds, her twin sons Donald Roberds & wife Patricia and Ronald Roberds & wife Cheryl-Ann along with grandchildren Amber, Jordan, Melissa, Stacy, and Holly and their spouses. Followed by 13 great grandchildren. Charlotte also leaves behind 3 loving sisters and a brother.
A celebration of Charlotte's life will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 at the Brandon Legion at 2:00 p.m.
