ARDAGH: The death of Ed Ardagh, beloved husband of Rita, dear father of Debra and Pam occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Friday, August 27th, 2004. The Ceremony to Celebrate Ed's life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330 18th Street North, on Friday, September 3rd, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. John Dolloff of St. Mary's Anglican Church will officiate. Interment will follow at the Rosewood Memorial Gardens. ARDAGH: The death of Charles Edward Ardagh occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Friday, August 27th, 2004. Ed was born on June 25, 1925, the son of Fredrick and Margaret Ardagh, in Hartney, MB where he also received his education. He was employed in various capacities as: Greyhound Bus Driver, Milkman, Taxi driver, Pearsons Construction, and the Brandon School Division, where he retired from custodial work at Betty Gibson School in 1987. Ed was also the treasurer for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his loyal dog, Nikki. Ed's hobbies included: golfing, woodworking, camping, travelling, snowmobiling, hunting, and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Rita; daughters, Debra (Bob) Chambers and Pamela (Don) Palmer; grandchildren, Melaynie (Joel) Campbell, Marilee (Andrew) Byers, Tasha Chambers and Gavin and Doss Palmer; great grandchildren, Cole Byers and Alexander Campbell. Ed is also survived by: his sisters, Em Rannie, Ellen (Ron) Jones, Susan Ardagh and Jean Guinet; sisters-in-law, Alice, Inez and Vi Ardagh and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick and Margaret Ardagh; brothers, William, Fredrick and George; sisters, Annie (Earl) Ryckman and Florence Steeves. The Ceremony to Celebrate Ed's Life was held at Memories Chapel on Friday, September 3rd, 2004. The Rev. John Dolloff of St. Mary's Anglican Church officiated. Urn Bearer was grandson, Doss Palmer. Interment followed at Rosewood Memorial Gardens.
