WEISGERBER: Cecilia (nee Schulte) of Brandon, formerly of Shilo (Sprucewoods), Manitoba passed away peacefully May 19th, 2008 at Fairview Home. Cecilia was born at Englefeld, Saskatchewan on November 20, 1918. She received her education there. Following which she assisted with the household chores and care of her siblings. She was united in marriage to Felix "Rusty" Weisgerber in 1947. Her life with an army Sgt. took her to Regina, Saskatchewan, Fort Churchill, Manitoba, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and Shilo, Manitoba. Cecilia was the shopkeeper of Rusty's Contracting Ltd. Many children raised in Shilo will remember her for the candy store. She was a member of Our Lady of Shilo Chapel Catholic Women's League and Sprucewoods Community Club. Her favorite pastime was playing bingo on Thursday nights at Sprucewoods Hall. Left to cherish her love are husband Felix "Rusty" of 61 years: daughter Valerie (Richard) Livingstone, their children, Carma (Deepak) Jolly, Kevin (Kim), Jarrod; daughter Patricia (George) Wolchuk, their children, Margie, Benjamin; son Lawrence (Diana), their children, Michael, Darrell (Genny Heroux), (their children Oreck and Sebastien), Amy (Ben), Joseph; son Gerald (Lucinda), their children, Spencer, Lanette; son Raymond and children, Ashly, Aaron, Katie; son Daniel (Betty). Cecilia is also survived by her four brothers: Clarence (Genevieve), Lawrence (Elaine), Al (Dorothy), Francis (Jean) and by her five sisters: Ann Radway, Dickie Osiowy, Alice (Al) Molle, Marge Norell, Darlene (Geoff) Topp, and sister-in-law Aline Schulte, along with Felix's four sisters: Bella Gervais, Clara Gingras, Caroline Bjornson, Laurine (Bob) Just, and two brothers George and Antone Weisgerber as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Cecilia was predeceased by her parents: Casper and Rose Schulte; brothers: John, Andrew, Edward and numerous other relatives. The Ceremony to Celebrate Cecilia's Life was held at Memories Chapel, 330 -18th Street North on Thursday, May 22, 2008 with Fr. Raju Madanu of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church as Celebrant. Interment will be held at a later date.
