KASCHOR OBITUARY
KASCHOR: Cecelia "CeCe" Kaschor, of Brandon, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg on Tuesday, June 6, 2000. CeCe is survived by her loving husband and companion of 54 years, Wally; special children Vickie Lee (John Gelder), Marcia (Don Stadnyk), Wally (Joan); precious grandchildren: Andrew and JoVi, Jason and Carlyne, Anthony, Kimberley, Heather; and special loved sister Carrie (Ken Erickson) of Barrie, ON. She was predeceased by her parents Anton and Victoria; brothers: Stan, John, Tony, Joe Pudlo, Frankie Pienkowski and sister Helen Whitman. CeCe was born in Filmore, SK but raised in Hayfield, MB where she met Wally. After their marriage they raised their family in Brandon where many friends will remember CeCe's smile greeting them each morning at work at the Prince Edward, Cecil and Crystal Hotels, Country Style Donuts and her special "own" place Burns Foods Cafeteria. CeCe was an avid reader and loved plants. She also enjoyed bowling and playing darts. She was a life time member of Sokol Hall and St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church. Her summers were spent at Sandy Lake at her blue cottage with her special friends. Prayers will be said at Memories Chapel, on Friday, June 9, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 927 Assiniboine Ave, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2000 with Fr. Victor Yakowchuk officiating assisted by cantor Mr. Peter Romanik. Pallbearers will be: Jason Stadnyk, Carlyne Stadnyk, Ken Heide, JoVi Gelder, Kimberley Kaschor, and Heather McDonald. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Cecilia may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 415 - 1st St., Brandon, MB, R7A 2W8. Arrangements are with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 727-0330.
