Caroline Patricia Morcom

March 31, 1942 — July 5, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Caroline Patricia Morcom announces her sudden passing on Sunday, July 5, 2026. Born in Kenora, Ontario on March 31, 1942, Caroline lived in various small towns across Manitoba and Northern Ontario and made her retirement home in Brandon, Manitoba. In every town she touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Caroline was a strong woman with a heart of gold. She faced life with determination and warmth, always putting the needs of her family and friends before her own. She was enormously proud of her children and grandchildren, and that pride lit up her face whenever she spoke of them.

Her deep love for the natural world was evident in everything she did — whether she was out on the lake fishing with family and friends, tending her garden, pencil in hand at her easel, or simply sitting by the window watching the birds she so adored. Her drawings were a reflection of her soul: vibrant, and full of life.

For many years, Caroline devoted herself to caring for others as a Health Care Aide. Her compassion and dedication to the people in her care came naturally. Caring for others wasn't something she did out of obligation — it was simply who she was, wanting nothing but the very best for the people she loved.

Most of all, Caroline treasured her family. She is survived by her beloved husband Harry; her daughter Diane Warburton (Shane) and grandchildren Paige and Carter as well as extended family; her son David Morcom (Renee) and grandchildren Braxton and Daegen. She is also survived by her brother Lorne (Cheryl); her sister June; brother-in-law Jimmie and sister-in-law Linda (Joseph) along with many other cherished family members and dear friends.

Caroline will be deeply missed by all who knew her — her warm smile, her kind heart, and the joy she brought to everyday moments. She leaves behind a garden full of flowers, a home full of memories, and a family full of love.

A life well lived. Forever in our hearts.
