Carol Aitchison passed away on Tuesday. February 13, 2024, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre.

Carol was born November 30, 1940, in Kenora, Ontario to Roy and Lena Rotnem. She lived her early life at Rushing River Park and then moved to Keewatin for schooling. She started her working life at the Brandon General Hospital cafeteria and then moved to the Brandon mental Hospital in the activities department, where she spent most of her career. She left the Brandon Mental Hospital due to health issues between 1985 and 1986.

She is survived by her husband Larry; 3 children Debbie Forsythe, Vern (Cindy) Forsythe and Wendy (Randee) Sangren. She was blessed with 6 grandchildren: Melissa Buchanan, Brandi Bedard, Shaune Forsythe, Roy Culbertson, Michelle Culbertson and Chris Sangren and 18 great grandchildren.

At Carol's request, cremation has taken place, and the family will cherish her memory privately at a later date.
