TURNER: The sudden passing of Calvin Craig Turner, occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, on Thursday, May 8, 2008. Craig was born on June 4, 1972 in Brandon. Because he shared his Dad's avid love of tinkering with all things mechanical, Craig decided to attend ACC and become a Journeyman heavy-duty mechanic. Craig began his career at MacArthur Truck and Trailer and worked as a technician at Diamond Water Works, Murray Chev-Olds and recently Toromont Cat. Craig was fun loving and enjoyed life whether it was playing baseball, camping, fishing, quading or snowmobiling. Craig's main focus in life was always his children, Cole and Hayden. He was a fantastic dad who treasured all the time he spent with them. He will be deeply missed by his parents Wes and Ethel, his brother Keith (Cary) and their children Noah and Jacob, his children Cole and Hayden and their mom Karen Klassen. His special friend Jeanette, as well as many more friends and relatives will also sadly miss him. A Ceremony Celebrating Craig's Life was held at Central United Church on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, with a private graveside service at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Following the service Craig's friends and family gathered at the Imperial Ballroom to share stories and cherished memories of his life. Flowers are gratefully declined.
