Obituary

Bruce McDonald passed away peacefully on March 21, 2003 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre at the age of 70 years. He is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Lenora; daughter Barb (Brent) Clark; son Bob (Jan) McDonald; daughter Lynda McDonald and four grandchildren he adored; Ryan, Holli, Lindon and Tanner. He also leaves: sisters, Shirley (Merv) Ward, Jean Clisby, brother Wes McDonald; sisters-in-law, Glenna and Anne McDonald. There are many nieces and nephews. Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Hazel McDonald; sisters, Ruth and Inez McDonald; brothers, Ross and Morley McDonald; sister-in-law, Betty McDonald and brother-in-law Frank Clisby. Bruce was employed with the Civil Service at Shilo for thirty-seven years. He loved hunting, fishing, his garden and especially spending family time at the cabin at Pelican Lake, which the family built in 1972. The memorial service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at 2:00 pm. All attending the ceremony are considered honorary pallbearers. A private family interment service was held at the Ninette cemetery.
