Bonnie Lorna Taylor passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at the Riverdale Personal Care Home.

Born in Deloraine, Manitoba on February 19, 1948, Bonnie was raised and received her education in Brandon. After her marriage (Van Hayden), she made her home in Rivers, raising her family and contributing to the community.

Throughout her life, Bonnie worked at the Brandon Hospital, Super Thrifty Drug Store, Rivers, as well as caring for many children, as a home daycare provider. However, the most important job, she devoted herself to her family as a homemaker.

Bonnie was actively involved in several community organizations. She served on the Rivers Figure Skating Executive, was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #75, and was part of the Rivers Game & Fish Association. Her love of fishing was reflected in her achievement of receiving 12 Master Angler Certificates.

In her spare time, Bonnie enjoyed sewing, crafting and took great pride in creating willow furniture.

Predeceased by her brothers Larry, Kenny, and Jack, and Ron’s daughter Jacy, Bonnie will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Ron Taylor, daughters Paula and Pam, son David, Ron’s daughter Jodi, grandchildren Codie, Sam, Skylar, Madie, Emma, Aleigh, Aiden, Chloe, Casey, and Alora. She is also survived by her sisters Deanna, Lynn, twin sister Betty, Peggy and their families.

The Funeral Ceremony took place at Rivers United Church, Rivers, Manitoba on Monday, December 22, 2025. A private interment will take place at a later date at the Rivers Cemetery.
