DITTMER: Mary Elizabeth "Beverly" (nee Opper) passed away peacefully on Friday August 12, 2022 at Fairview Home. Beverly was born on April 5, 1932 to Annabelle and William Opper in the Clover Hill District of Manitoba. She grew up on the family farm that bordered the Manitoba and Saskatchewan border and attended school in Antler, Saskatchewan. Beverly was the eldest of her six siblings. In 1949, she married Henry Dittmer and lived on the family farm until 1974, when they retired to Brandon, Manitoba. Henry passed away in 2008. Beverly then moved to Village Green, where she resided for the next thirteen years. She loved life there and made many cherished friends. Beverly was predeceased by her husband Henry, infant daughter Laurie, and four siblings. She leaves in mourning her three children Linda Winch, Murray (Patricia) Dittmer and Randy (Lorrie) Dittmer; six grandchildren, thirteen great children, and her brother Robert (Rose) Opper. Beverly's grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she attended every event she possibly could. A private graveside service will take place at Rosewood Memorial Gardens.
