STOREY: Betty Storey passed away on Monday July 1, 2013 at the Rideau Park Personal Care Home at the age of 92. She was born March 21, 1921 in Derby, England to Victor and Ethel Thornhill. She was the second oldest of four children. Betty came to Canada on July 1st 1946 as the Warbride of Wilbert Bruce (Bill) Storey. She will be sadly missed by her children Brenda (Storey) Leblanc of Winnipeg and twin sons Donald V. and Ronald B. Storey both of Brandon. Also left to mourn her are eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Cyril Thornhill in England. She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters Sylvia and Dorothy in England; son-in-law Mike Leblanc; daughter-in-law Lorna Storey; Bill Storey as well as two great grandchildren Madison and Bryson Malowski. The Funeral Ceremony was held at St George's Anglican Church, 5th Street and Southern Avenue on Saturday July 6, 2013. Rev. Jim Brown officiated. Luncheon and Fellowship followed in the Church Lower Level. A private family graveside service followed at the Brandon Cemetery.
