de DELLEY: Betty Ann de Delley, of Rapid City, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Sunday, June 1, 2008. Betty was born April 16, 1945 in Hamilton, Ontario. She made many special friends throughout the years as an: owner/operator of a taxi company, gift shop and then a refrigeration and electrical business. In the various places she resided, she worked as a bartender and also worked in many departments of Zellers in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba, before retiring from the Brandon Zellers. Betty enjoyed knitting, sewing, gardening, camping, fishing, and shopping at yard and antique sales. She immensely enjoyed nature. Betty travelled to Africa, Europe, the Bahamas and RV'ed in parts of Canada and the USA. She took a keen interest in her children's school activities. Betty will be forever remembered by her loving husband Brian; special friend, family pet, "Taz", daughters: Terri (Bill) and grandchildren Trevor (Denise), Shaunda and T.J.; Jennifer; Stacey and her children Isaiah and J.J.; brother George (Dorothy), many nieces and nephews. She is loved by all members of the de Delley family. Betty was predeceased by her mother, Dorothy Bolen. The Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Vanderhoof, British Columbia. A private family gathering will be held in Brandon.
