BERTHA MARY KORELL (formerly MILNE) (nee COOK) October 3, 1915 - November 4, 2013
It is with a heavy heart and infinite sadness that we have lost the matriarch of our family. After Mom's debilitating stroke in 2008 she was still able to return to her apartment with me as her caregiver. Mom loved to go out so we want to thank Handi-Transit for making our many outings possible. I also want to thank my Uncle Bob and my son Alan for all the time they spent visiting with Mom. Mom was predeceased by our Dad, Gordon J. Milne; her first-born son Gordon G. Milne; her sister Olive Ross from Marathon, ON and her sister Elva Smith from Mississauga, ON. Left to mourn Mom is her daughter Bonnie Frandsen; her son James Milne and his wife Rita from Barrhead, AB; her brother Robert Cook from Winnipeg and all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. As per Mom's wishes, her cremated remains were placed in her Mom's grave at a private interment at the Brandon Cemetery.
