EDWARDS: It is with deep regrets, the family of Bernice Lothian Edwards (nee Gordon) announces her sudden passing on Saturday, August 9, 2003 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Bernice was the loving wife of fifty-three years to George of Brandon; devoted mother to Denise Duthie of Brandon, Debbie (Ron) McArthur of Aurora, Ontario and Lyndon (Antonia) Edwards of Newmarket, Ontario; doting grandmother (and "cookie-master") to Ryan Duthie (friend Amy Smaluk), Stefani McArthur, Daylan McArthur and Sarah Duthie (friend Jason Yeo). She will also be missed by her four, "Grand Dogs". Bernice is also survived by: her sister, Margaret (Les) Graham of Lloydminster; sisters-in-law, May McIntyre of Marsden and Lil McLean of Moose Jaw as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. She was predeceased by, her brother, Glenn Gordon of Saskatoon. Bernice was born in 1930 and raised in the Marsden, Saskatchewan area. Bernice and George moved to Strathclair in 1967, then to Brandon in 1978. She will be dearly missed and deeply mourned by family and friends alike. A special thank-you is extended to Ron and Nina Douglas for their incredible support. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at 2:30 pm. Interment will follow in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens.
