FERGUSON: Beatrice Ferguson, beloved wife of Mel Ferguson, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, January 28, 2003. Beatrice was born in Brandon on February 19, 1924, daughter of Theodore and Frances Wenger. She grew up in Brandon, attending school in the city. Beatrice lived in Brampton, Ontario in earlier years before moving back to Brandon to reside. In later years, she married Malcolm Leslie Ferguson in Brandon in 1976. They have resided in the city for many years. During those years she spent many hours outside working in her garden. Bea always enjoyed all animals especially her pet dogs. Beatrice is survived by: her husband Mel; step-son, Jim (Shelly) Ferguson and grandsons, Ryan and Josh; two sisters, Helen (Nick) Holub and Mary (Alex) Ungurian. There are several nieces and nephews surviving. She was predeceased by; her parents, two brothers, Fred and Wally Wenger. The Ceremony of Christian Burial will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Friday, January 31, 2003 at 1:30 pm. Celebrant will be Fr. Eric Giddins of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery Columbarium. Arrangements are with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 727-0330.
