ORR: The death of Barbara Ann Orr of Brandon occurred in the city on Thursday, February 23, 2012. Barbara was born September, 18, 1948 in Brandon, the daughter of Matthew and Iris Orr. She lived most of her life in the Alexander and Brandon areas. She attended COR Enterprises from 1967 until recently due to illness. Barbara enjoyed bowling with her sister Marilyn. Family was very important to her. She always had a good sense of humor and was very loving and caring towards all animals. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, sister Marilyn, two brothers Jim and John. She is survived by sisters: Beverly Harding, Sylvia Arnold, Lorna Cross, Audrey Gabrielle, Pat Henning, Dorothy Tomms and a sister-in-law Colleen Orr. There are numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel, 330 - 18th Street North on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Wayne Sanderson will officiate. Interment will be in the family plot at Alexander Cemetery.
