With her daughters by her side, Barbara "Barb" Jean MacGregor (nee Harrison) passed away at Rivers Personal Care Home on her 79th birthday.
Barb was born to Herb and Florence Harrison in Manor, Saskatchewan where she lived the majority of her life. She took a bookkeeping course in Regina and worked in Ontario and Regina. During a weekend home to visit her parents, she met and later married Bob MacGregor in 1968. They had two children, Maxine and Stacey.
Throughout the years she worked at Sears, Sask Housing, Skyline Motor Inn and the Prairie Oasis. Barb loved playing cards and she always "just dealt the last hand". She also enjoyed curling, shuffleboard and watching the Roughriders. Trips to casinos and dances were favorites, but mostly Barb adored spending time with family and friends. She moved to Rivers in 2020 to be closer to her girls.
Predeceased by her husband Bob, parents Herb and Florence, brother Bert, sister Reta, father and mother-in-law Miles and Frances, sisters-in-law Marg and Alice, and brothers-in-law Frank and Ron.
Barb will be deeply missed by her daughters Maxine (David) and Stacey, grandchildren Ryley, Shayna (Colton), brothers Larry, Floyd (Helen), brothers-in-law John, Jim (Irene), Jock (Karen), Mack, sisters-in-law Norma, Karen and Linda, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Barb's wishes, a private graveside service will take place at a later date.
Memorial Donations may be made to a charity of choice. In lieu of flowers, spend time with family and friends sharing stories and laughter, creating cherished memories, as Barb always enjoyed doing.
