RANDALL: The death of Arlene Randall, beloved mother of Melissa, occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday, October 29, 2007. The Ceremony to Celebrate Arlene's Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Shannon McCarthy of Central United Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Complete obituary information will follow. RANDALL: Arlene June Randall passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on October 29, 2007 at the age of 54, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Arlene was born, raised, and lived her entire life in Brandon. She attended Alexandra Elementary School and BCI High School. Arlene started working at a young age. Most of her working career was spent at Fairview Nursing Home with the last few years working at Rideau Park Personal Care Home as a housekeeping attendant. She enjoyed spending time at Clear Lake. She also enjoyed animals, horses, horse shows, craft sales, the Brandon winter and summer fairs, scratch tickets, and playing the lottery. Arlene's greatest achievement was raising her daughter Melissa as a single mother. Arlene will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Melissa (Jeremy) Blixhavn; siblings Cathy (Bill) Stephens, Bruce Randall, David (Roxanna) Randall, Elsie Randall, Kelly (Diana) Randall, Susan Randall, Neil (Kathy) Randall. She is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews, two great nieces, aunts, uncles and friends. Arlene was predeceased by her mother Kathleen Randall and her father Fredrick Randall. The Ceremony to Celebrate Arlene's Life was held at Memories Chapel on Thursday, November 1, 2007. Rev. Shannon McCarthy of Central United Church officiated. Urn bearer was Melissa Blixhavn. Honorary bearer was Phil Grantham in memory of Gayle Grantham. Interment followed at the Rosewood Memorial Gardens.
