YAROSLOWSKI: Anne Yaroslowski (nee Kostiew) passed away Wednesday, July 21, 1999 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Anne was born on April 19, 1922 at Sifton, Manitoba. She was the daughter of the late Jack and Dockeya (Doris) Kostiew. In 1939, Anne married and during her years of farming had 9 children. Anne began a new career in 1969, becoming a Home Care Provider for almost 30 years. She was also employed as a Health Aid for the Assiniboine Center for a period of time. Anne was a strong woman who loved and cared deeply for her family and friends. She never hesitated to give of herself or her belongings. Cooking, gardening, crocheting, knitting and reading were hobbies that Anne enjoyed. Anne was predeceased by 2 sons, Alex and Larry; a grandson, Marc; 2 sisters and 6 brothers. She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Shirley (John) Nykiforuk of Dauphin; Karmen Yaroslowski of BC; Elsie McNaughton of Brandon; Doris Flaxman of BC; Marion (Garry) Yakimchuk of BC; Cindy (Ray) Drebnisky of Brandon; and Diana (Brent) Hansen of Brandon; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral Service was held at Memories Chapel on Monday, July 26, 1999 with Arlene Robertson of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment followed in the Brandon Cemetery.
