WIELGOSZ: It is with profound sadness that the family of Anne Wielgosz announce her passing at Brandon Regional Health Centre on July 30, 2014. Anne passed away the way she lived, quietly and peacefully. She was predeceased by her husband Charles, her parents Stephan and Tekla, her brother John, and sister Mary. Anne was born in Brandon on March 6, 1933, and married Charles (Chas) in 1950. Anne's family was her life, and she was well known for her cooking skills, particularly her cabbage rolls and perogies. A devoted animal lover, she could often be seen feeding the neighborhood birds, squirrels, and any other animals that happened to wander by. Anne had an impeccable sense of style and elegance, and an air of glamour that touched everyone around her. She will be remembered for her quiet dignity, her sharp wit, her grace, and her sense of humour. Anne is survived by her Daughter, Jeanette (Renald) Rouire, Grandson, Kevin (Pam) Rouire, Granddaughter, Michelle (Stephen) Molnar, and Great-grandchildren Chantelle, Monique, Natalie, Sadie, Macey, and Maksim. A private family interment ceremony was held at the Brandon Cemetery. Fr. Michael Tkachuk of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church officiated. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Anne may be made to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200 17th Street East, Brandon MB R7A 7M6. We love you Mom, Grandma, and Grannie...
