PERRY: Anne Julie Perry (nTe Robichaud) of Brandon, Manitoba passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Fairview Home, at the age of 85 years. Anne is survived by: her sons, Michel Perry (Angela) of Westbourne, MB; Normand Perry (France) of Montreal, QC, and daughter, HTlFne Mayers (John) of Brandon. There are nine grandchildren; Bev Alexander, Jen Perry (William), Francis West, Tasheena Mainville, Sophie Perry, Charles Perry, Kim Hall (Ken), Suzanne Malcolm (Rob) and Philip Mayers and her eleven great grandchildren. Anne was predeceased by: her parents, Alexandre and ArthTmise Robichaud; her infant daughter, Lucille Perry; her son, Gilles Perry; grandson Daniel Perry; great grandson, Samuel Hall. A time of visitation was held at Memories Chapel on Monday, June 9, 2008 with a private interment at the Brandon Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the nurses and staff of Fairview Home for their kindness and care extended to Mrs. Perry and her family. In lieu of flowers, friends who so desire may make a donation in memory of Anne to Fairview Home, 1351-13th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 4S6. Anne is survived by her sons: Michel Perry (Angela) of Westbourne, MB, and their children: Beverley Alexander, Jennifer Perry (William), Tasheena Mainville, and Francis West; Normand Perry (France) of Montreal, QC, and their children: Sophie and Charles Perry; daughter: HTlFne Mayers (John) of Brandon, MB, and their children: Kim Hall (Ken), Suzanne Malcolm (Rob), and Philip Mayers. Anne had 11 great-grand children: Justin, Ryan, Jordan, Bryson, and Jayden, Danielle and Julia, Kaitlin and Kourtney, Ethan and Sarah. Anne is also survived by 2 sisters: Clara Eary of Tangier, NS; Maria Duguay of Ste-Rose, NB; and a sister-in-law, Clarisse Robichaud of Tracadie, NB. Anne was predeceased by her parents, Alexandre and ArthTmise Robichaud; her infant-daughter, Lucille Perry in 1944; her son, Gilles Perry in 2007; grandson, Daniel Perry in 1980, great-grandson, Samuel Hall in 2000.
Anne was born in Ste-Rose, NB on May 22, 1923. Her father passed away when she was only 4 years old. She was raised by Ernest and HTlFne Dumaresq of St-Isidore, NB. In 1942, she married Philippe Perry and raised their family in the provinces of Quebec and New-Brunswick. Anne lived life to the fullest. She loved traveling, enjoyed gardening, and crocheting afghans. She even made her own ceramic beads, which she turned into beautiful necklaces. Anne worked as a secretary for Eglise du SacrT-Coeur in Toronto for about 25 years. She was also very active in the French and Acadian community. Anne enjoyed writing poetry, and published a book called: Feux Chalins in 1983. She also wrote a Newspaper column for many years in Toronto. In 2001, she moved to Manitoba to live with her daughter. She then moved to Fairview Home in 2005 where she spent the last 3 years of her life. A graveside service was held at the Brandon Cemetery on Tuesday, June 10, 2008. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the nurses and staff of Fairview Home for their kindness and care extended to Mrs. Perry and her family. Arrangements were with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre.
