Ann was born in Olha, Manitoba on October 8th, 1913 where she met and married Peter. They farmed in this area until moving to Brandon in 1944 with their first two daughters. Nana lived life to the fullest, devoted herself to her family and always had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her passions in life included gardening, looking after her pets, playing cards, spending time with her family and many friends, baking and cooking. Nana passed on Ukrainian traditions to her family, in particular, her special dishes. She was a very energetic and hard working woman who independently maintained her home and yard for many years. She is survived by her children Joan Zeke, Eleanor (Joe) Phillips, Shirley Ziegler, Murray Chrun, Linda (Russ) Reid; grandchildren Barbara, Jeff, Tara, Dean, Gregory, Gordon, Angeline, Allison, Angela, Matthew and ten great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Olive Budd and Elsie (Bill) Sawchuk as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed and remembered with great fondness by all family members. Ann was predeceased by her husband of fifty years, Peter, brother Bill and his wife Nellie Budiwski, sister Sally Budd, and daughter-in-law Joan Chrun.
