LOHNES: Anita Lohnes passed away in Brandon on July 30, 2010 at the age of 83 years. Born in Yugoslavia, Anita emigrated to Canada in 1950. Mom was a proud Canadian. She leaves her two daughters: Brenda (Terry) Reed and granddaughter, Terri-Lynn; Donita Lohnes and husband Lawrence Anderson. Anita was predeceased by her husband Rex in 1998. She was a devoted mother, companion and friend to many people. She was a dignified, intelligent and multi-talented person. A private memorial will be held at Memories Chapel on August 4, 2010. Flowers are gratefully declined. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Anita to a charity of their choice.
