BOCKSTAEL: The passing of Angele Helene Bockstael occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Friday, October 26, 2007. Angele was born at Bruxelles, Belgium on May 8, 1919. She was raised in Belgium and attended elementary and high school. Angele married Germain Bockstael. They had three children: Gilberte, Yvette, and Georges. The family immigrated to Winnipeg in 1954. She has resided in St. Lazare, The Pas and Brandon. Angele was a member of the Belgian Club in Winnipeg and was very much involved with church activities. She enjoyed reading, knitting, traveling, and gardening. Angele was predeceased by her husband Germain Bockstael in 1985. She will be forever missed by her three children Gilberte "Jill" (Dennis) Dean, Yvette, and Georges; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Prayers will be said at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, 327 - 4th Street, on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Celebrant will be Fr. Dominic Yuen. Interment will follow at St. Lazare Cemetery, St. Lazare, Manitoba at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Georges Bockstael, Phil and Roland Deschambault, Dennis Dean and Dave Simard.
